Huntington Hills is bound by Nose Hills Park on the west, Beddington Boulevard on the north, 64 Avenue NE on the south, and Deerfoot Trail on the east. The land was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1961, and the community was officially established in 1967.
The high elevation of the community means epic view of the city and Rocky Mountains, and the proximity to Nose Hill Park means an outdoor lifestyle is within reach daily. Amenities within community borders include Real Canadian Superstore, the Thornhill Aquatic & Recreation Centre, and the Huntington Hills Skatepark. Deerfoot City is also down 64 Avenue NE and offers more amenities, such as Cabela's, The Rec Room, Winners, H&M, Walmart, and the Deerfoot City indoor/outdoor food court.
