MacEwan Glen, most commonly known as MacEwan, is a primarily low-density, northern community and the only community directly attached to Nose Hill Park. It's bounded by Country Hills Boulevard to the north, 14 Street to the east, Shaganappi Trail to the west, and Nose Hill Park to the south.
Echo Park and MacEwan Glen Park are two main green spaces, but Nose Hill Park is the main attraction. Located directly north of the city park, Nose Hill Park offers kilometres of nature pathways, the Stone Maze, a beautiful viewpoint, and other outdoor activity options.
The community of MacEwan Glen is served by Monsignor N. Anderson Elementary School, Simons Valley Elementary School, Sir John A. Macdonald School, and Queen Elizabeth High School.
