Sunalta is just west of the downtown core and was first established in 1912. In the fifties, the area was redeveloped and now features a selection of apartments, condominiums, single-family homes, and some excellent new infill properties, offering buyers seeking new inner-city homes a wealth of choice, all within walking distance of downtown Calgary.
Crowchild Trail, Memorial Drive, and Bow Trail provide residents with convenient access to other parts of the city and Sunalta residents also have their own LRT station.
14 Street SW and 17 Avenue SW are adjacent to the community, and the ever-popular district of Kensington is just across the river. The Bow River and its extensive pathway network are right next door for outdoor recreation, and Prince’s Island Park is only minutes away.
